When the fleet of 1947 Packard convertibles became available — a fleet with over three decades of history on the roads — the passion and the opportunity arrived at the same moment. The vehicles were extraordinary. The story behind them was real. We brought all four to Idaho and built Boise Classic Touring around what they represent.
Today BCT is home to the only fleet of 1947 Packard convertibles for hire in the United States. All four owned, maintained, and cared for personally — available exclusively for your occasion, whatever that occasion happens to be.

The Packard car...
The Packard name traces back to the late 1890s when James Ward Packard set out to build a better automobile. The Packard Motor Car Company — established in Warren, Ohio and later Detroit, Michigan — became America's undisputed leader in prestige automobiles by the 1920s. The 1947 Custom Super Clipper represented the marque's triumphant return after World War II, built when American craftsmanship was at its absolute peak.
The vehicles in the BCT fleet are not standard Clippers. They are the Custom Super Clipper limousine — Packard's flagship model, built on an extended 148-inch wheelbase, fitted with a divider window, and appointed with the finest materials the company produced. Fewer than 2,000 were ever built.
Four of them live in Idaho.
